Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Director of Child Care to join our team at Primrose Schools. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for creating a culture of support within the school, cultivating an environment committed to health and safety, and managing the operation of the school in the Director's absence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive and inclusive school culture that supports the well-being and development of children, staff, and families.
  • Cultivate a safe and healthy environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the school, including supervising staff, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist the Director in developing and implementing strategies to achieve maximum enrollment and effective cost control.
  • Collaborate with the Director and other leaders to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with the school's mission and values.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field, or equivalent classroom/teaching experience.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising staff and managing budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with families and the community.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on achieving shared goals and objectives.
