Salary and Benefits

Job Description
As a Telemetry Nurse at California Hospital Medical Center, you will be responsible for closely monitoring patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, oxygen saturation, heart rhythms, and respiration. You will work closely with doctors and other clinical specialists to observe patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Your success in this role comes from your enthusiasm to provide great care, learn new things, and ability to communicate effectively with peers, patients, and their loved ones.

Responsibilities
- Track routine heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse ox levels
- Quickly report and address any changes in condition
- Patiently and thoroughly explain test results and procedures to patients and family members
- Educate patients on post-hospital care, including prescribed medicine, care maintenance, and prevention

Qualifications
- 1 year Telemetry RN experience in an acute care setting
- Registered Nurse licensed to practice in the State of California
- BLS Basic Life Support American Heart Association
- ACLS Advanced Cardiovascular American Heart Association
- EKG Dysrhythmia Certification
