Job Summary

This position plays a crucial role in Sanctuary's success by delivering exceptional guest experiences through high-quality beverage service. The ideal candidate will ensure that guests receive personalized, courteous, and professional service while maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert knowledge of spirits, wines, and cocktails to guests, with a focus on promoting Sanctuary's beverage offerings.
  • Lead the bartending team by example, demonstrating exceptional skills, knowledge, and attitude.
  • Train and develop new bartending staff, ensuring they meet Sanctuary's high standards.
  • Develop and implement new mixology classes, showcasing creativity and passion for mixology.
  • Manage the liquor room, reducing inventory waste and maintaining accurate ordering and inventory.
  • Ensure speed of service standards are met, recognizing the importance of guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of micros ordering system and check processing procedures.
  • Ability to lift and transport heavy trays, carry cocktail trays, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and maintain good safety habits.
  • Possess a current Food Handler's Card and a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in food and beverage, with previous bartender experience and working knowledge of wine and spirits.
