Job Title: Construction Materials Testing Technician II

At Building & Earth Sciences, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Construction Materials Testing Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing testing observation on assigned field projects, ensuring compliance with applicable specifications for independent testing laboratories.

Responsibilities:
  • Sample preparation, collection, and testing
  • Field observations and documentation of construction activities
  • Identification, verbal communication, and documentation of test results and activities on more advanced level testing
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of CMT experience
  • ACI Concrete Certification + ICC Soils Special Inspector certification
  • Ability to create and maintain accurate and confidential test records
  • Skilled in the use of computers and common software applications
  • Ability to learn company-specific software and programs
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to move, lift, or carry objects or materials up to 50 lbs. without assistance
  • Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding
  • Ability to physically maneuver construction sites and excavations
