Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing other medical procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct patient assessments, identify potential health risks, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and new technologies in dialysis care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing (LPN, LVN)
  • Current appropriate State licensure
  • One year medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
  • Hemodialysis experience preferred but not required
  • ICU experience preferred but not required
