Role Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Business Operations Lead is to ensure that various departments within the organization adhere to the strategic plans and initiatives designed for the overall success of the business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operations of multiple departments, focusing on pricing strategies, sales performance, production efficiency, and distribution logistics.
  • Manage personnel, including creating work schedules and delegating tasks effectively.
  • Identify staffing needs and participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  • Supervise all activities related to the production of the company’s offerings.
  • Evaluate employee performance, coordinate with division leaders, and manage promotional activities.
  • Lead the redesign of existing facilities and represent the organization in client discussions and negotiations.
  • Address challenges calmly and effectively, even in high-pressure situations.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Windows-based applications is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in payroll management and wage processing.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in operations management.

Core Competencies:

  • Plan, assess, direct, and coordinate operational activities, including forecasting and analysis for both local and international production.
  • Manage supply chain and logistics teams, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of logistics processes.
  • Conduct internal and external audits as necessary, with a willingness to travel for offsite engagements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new processes and drive operational improvements.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills, capable of producing original reports and analyses.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems is required.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing awareness and support across the organization.
  • Work with leadership to develop risk management strategies and address operational gaps.
  • Effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences, both in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to gather and analyze data from various sources to create informative reports and presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Background Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or Accounting preferred, with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and projects efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in business software applications, including MS Office.
  • Experience with supply chain management systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and statistical data.
  • Skilled in evaluating data to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement.
  • Capable of developing tasks based on broad objectives.
  • Foster and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to achieve business objectives and meet deadlines.
