Compensation Details:
The base pay for this role is $21.00 per hour.

Compensation may vary based on various factors, including qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may exceed the stated range.

Key Responsibilities:

As an EMT-B, you will operate within the scope of each county's clinical and operational protocols, adhering to all of Royal's processes, policies, quality standards, and expectations for outstanding patient care and customer service.

Deliver basic life support, conduct patient assessments, administer medications, manage airways, and determine the nature and extent of illness or injury while establishing priorities for necessary emergency care and transport.

Collaborate with healthcare leaders and EMS Providers to ensure continuity of care (including Physicians, Nurse Managers, Transfer Center Coordinators, Charge Nurses, etc.)
Be prepared to respond to Code 2's and potential Code 3's.
Address and resolve patient/customer needs to ensure the most suitable treatment and/or course of action.
Maintain composure in challenging and high-pressure situations, focusing on executing your responsibilities to the best of your ability.

Licensed as an EMT in the State of California - Check your status here
Santa Clara County Badge (Required for our Santa Cruz County units)
Hazmat FRO
Valid CA Driver's License AND CA Ambulance Driver's License
Medical Examiner's Certificate
Valid AHA (American Heart Association) CPR Card

FEMA/NFPA Courses:
ICS-100 , ICS-700 , AWR-160
Immunizations within 10 years (HepB, MMR, TDAP, Varicella); TB Test within one (1) year
COVID Vaccine Required
