Position Summary:

The final assembly division is tasked with ensuring the quality of all components and completing the assembly of products and responsibilities assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately constructs projects while adhering to time and budget constraints.
  • Utilizes saws, power tools, sanders, hand tools, adhesives, fasteners, and other equipment to finalize projects.
  • Shapes and prepares wood surfaces to construct complete projects.
  • Installs specified hardware and affixes cabinet doors to frames.
  • Finishes surfaces in accordance with specifications through sanding, staining, and applying finishes.
  • Restores or refinishes furniture or cabinetry to meet established quality standards.
  • Possesses a solid understanding of quality control principles.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong verbal communication capabilities.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Ability to interpret instructions from manuals and blueprints.
  • Proficient in measuring and constructing with precision.
  • Strong mathematical and spatial reasoning skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and highly accurate.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and light machinery.
  • Capability to fit cabinetry around existing appliances.
  • Experience operating forklifts is advantageous.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • 1-4 years of relevant experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 75 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to assemble products as required.
  • Ability to read product bills of materials to ensure proper assembly.
