Are you proficient in assembling electrical control panels? Do you have experience with hand tools and the ability to work from technical drawings?
If so, you could be the ideal candidate for our Project Technician role at Kirby Risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct electric control panels according to client specifications and technical drawings.
- Utilize standard assembly tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, wire strippers, etc.) effectively.
- Interpret technical drawings and utilize measuring tools (both metric and imperial).
- Provide clear instructions to team members.
- Associate's Degree in a technical discipline or 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with business operations and procedures.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Ability to read both metric and standard measuring tools.
- Capable of interpreting blueprints and wiring schematics.
- Ability to lift, push, or carry up to 50 lbs.
- Mobility to navigate the plant floor.
- Capacity to stand and work with arms raised for extended periods.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and via phone.
- Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment and tools.
- Standard hours from 7 AM to 4 PM.
- Occasional overtime may be required based on project needs.
- No travel is necessary.
