The successful candidate will engage in teaching responsibilities at both undergraduate and graduate levels, utilizing both online and face-to-face formats. Additionally, this role will involve active participation in the Center for Entrepreneurship, which includes mentoring aspiring student entrepreneurs, collaborating with local business leaders, and advising student organizations dedicated to entrepreneurship.

As a Lecturer in Management Practice, the faculty member will primarily focus on teaching (80% of the role) while also contributing to service activities (20%). For candidates holding a doctorate, there may be opportunities to include a research component (10%) within the teaching or service responsibilities. The appointment will be for an academic year (nine months), with a salary that reflects experience and qualifications, competitive with peer institutions.

Qualifications

A doctorate in management or a related discipline is required, or alternatively, a graduate business degree coupled with substantial professional experience in the corporate sector. All applicants must demonstrate a proven ability to teach at the college level. Preference will be given to those with a track record of excellence in teaching, particularly in large lecture or online formats for both undergraduate and graduate courses. Experience in teaching strategic management and/or entrepreneurship is highly desirable.
