Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of an in-house Customs Brokerage Team for a Freight Forwarding Company.

Establish and maintain a comprehensive Brokerage system, including filer codes and other essential areas for running a seamless operation.

Manage a team of employees with full A-Z Brokerage responsibilities, providing guidance and support as needed.

Advise on trade compliance issues and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Develop and implement KPIs, team building, training, hiring, and other strategies to drive team success.

Assume full P & L responsibility for the group, making informed decisions to drive growth and profitability.

Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, and a Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) certification is required.

Experience starting a Customs Brokerage Operations is essential, with a strong background in training and auditing.

Proven experience with P&L management and excellent people skills to effectively communicate with customers and team members.

Proficiency in Microsoft applications and a strong understanding of trade compliance regulations.
