Paralegal for Personal Injury Cases

This opportunity is hosted by Jobot. We are seeking a qualified individual to join our esteemed boutique law firm specializing in plaintiff personal injury cases.
Compensation:
Annual salary ranges from $50,000 to $60,000.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research and compile pertinent information for ongoing cases.
- Provide extensive litigation assistance, including drafting legal documents, preparing affidavits, organizing exhibits, and managing case files.
- Work closely with attorneys to prepare for trials by creating case briefs, assembling evidence, and drafting necessary legal documents.
- Oversee all aspects of the e-discovery process, including data collection, processing, review, and production.
- Draft clear, concise, and legally sound reports, memos, and correspondence.
- Prepare and maintain legal documentation, ensuring all files are current and accurately filed.
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other legal entities to schedule meetings, depositions, and trials.
- Maintain organized case files and manage the case tracking system effectively.
- Stay informed on current laws, regulations, and legal developments relevant to our practice area.
- Assist with additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
- A bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or a related discipline; paralegal certification is advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in legal research, litigation support, case management, trial preparation, e-discovery, legal writing, and documentation.
- Experience in personal injury and civil litigation is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of legal procedures and terminology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- High level of professional ethics and integrity.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
