We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Surgical Consultant to join our team at Abiomed, a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for training, educating, and supporting combined CT/Heart Failure programs on the proper use of our Impella product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Train and educate customers on the use of our Impella 5.5 with SmartAssist device
  • Provide full customer immersion and support to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with our Medical Office and Engineering team to support EFS/PMA efforts and commercialization of our BTR pump and future technologies
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Participate in launch, training, and education of combined Surgical/Heart Failure programs on the proper use of our Breethe Oxy-1 system

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Surgical Physicians Assistant (PA), or Perfusionist licensure
  • Direct experience in Cardiac Surgery/Perfusion, with 5 years preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 50%-75% overnight, depending on territory
  • Previous experience with Abiomed and/or other Cardiac medical devices highly desired
