Job Title: ACM Estimator II

At Gilbane Building Company, we are seeking an experienced ACM Estimator II to join our team. As an ACM Estimator II, you will be responsible for performing estimating on demolition drawings, ACM and Hazmat reports and drawings, and environmental remediation scopes of work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform estimating on demolition drawings, ACM and Hazmat reports and drawings, and environmental remediation scopes of work.
  • Produce quantitative surveys and accurate pricing for comparison with change order proposal submitted by prime contractors.
  • Obtain and present unit pricing data.
  • Responsible for outlining changes, clarifications and qualifications within an estimate.
  • Provide back up for estimates to be used during analysis, review, and negotiations.
  • Identify indirect costs and General Condition items within estimate.
  • Possess and apply knowledge of unit prices and the material/labor component of an estimate.
  • Produce manpower estimates to coincide with unit pricing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor in Engineering.
  • 3-5 years relevant experience.
  • Familiar with market pricing and trends.
  • Basic understanding of all phases of estimating.
