Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Construction Scheduler to join our team. This role involves planning and scheduling heavy industrial engineering projects, monitoring project costs, and estimating projects. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of project controls, earned value management, and construction cost estimation.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining project schedules, including analyzing contract packages and identifying coordination issues
- Monitoring and updating project schedules through regular meetings, construction coordination interviews, and field verification
- Ensuring compliance with company business standards and good practices
- Providing coaching and mentoring to team members
- Developing and maintaining project cost estimates, including reconciliation of commitments, change orders, and contractor invoices
- Establishing and maintaining a progressive project schedule, including reconciling commitments and change orders
- Collaborating with clients and internal teams to develop construction and contract strategies for project constructability
- Assisting with quantity analysis for project duration and estimating purposes
- Interacting and leading project controls efforts with clients, contractors, and internal teams
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Construction Science, Building Science, or a related field
- 15 or more years of relevant industrial experience in planning, scheduling, cost control, and estimating
- Knowledge and application of company business standards and good practices
- Extreme attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Timberline Estimating software
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills

Estimated Salary
$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Location
US-based, with opportunities for remote work.
