We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Banquet Houseperson to join our team at the Grand Naniloa Hotel Hilo - a DoubleTree by Hilton. As a Banquet Houseperson, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of all banquet functions and meeting rooms.
Key Responsibilities- Review and implement banquet function sheets to set up each function room according to instructions.
- Ensure that all required items are provided according to instructions, including equipment and supplies.
- Manage the distribution and return of keys from a key lock box at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of banquet function spaces.
- Communicate effectively with guest contact persons to ensure timely delivery of necessary items.
- Report guest complaints and compliments to management.
- Break down and store equipment after each function.
- Adhere to company uniform and grooming standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Availability to work day or night banquets.
- Previous experience with moving and setting up equipment.
