Kids Above All, a leader in early childhood education, is seeking a compassionate and experienced perinatal support specialist to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will provide critical support to families with infants and young children.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled birth doula to support our clients in the Parent Empowerment Program. As a member of our team, you will work closely with Parent Educators to provide supplemental doula services, including comfort measures, pain relief techniques, and postpartum support. Your expertise will help families navigate the challenges of pregnancy, childbirth, and parenthood.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Parent Educators to deliver exceptional doula services to families in our program.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to parents during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
  • Offer expert advice on childcare, parenting, and family development through regular home visits.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for children and families.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with infants or the perinatal population.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
  • Certification as a DONA trained doula an asset.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
