Position Overview: The Patient Services Associate I plays a crucial role in enhancing the patient experience by efficiently managing arrival and departure processes within our outpatient facilities. This position primarily involves front desk responsibilities, including the verification of insurance, referrals, and patient demographic details.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate patient check-in and check-out processes, including point of service activities and appointment scheduling through the EPIC system.
- Provide a warm and professional greeting to patients and visitors, whether in person or over the phone.
- Ensure the accurate collection of patient information to support a seamless patient flow to examination rooms.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in customer service or patient-facing roles within a healthcare setting is preferred.
