In this position, you will deliver exceptional service to our clients, ensuring their home heating systems operate efficiently. As a key representative of our company, your technical skills will be complemented by your ability to engage positively with customers during in-home service visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct service calls to residential properties, providing expert troubleshooting and repair for various heating systems.
- Maintain a professional demeanor, acting as a brand ambassador for JOHN RAY & SONS.
- Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of propane tanks and cylinders, including conducting system tests and preparing installations for inspection.
- Ensure the service vehicle is well-maintained, adhering to security protocols and performing pre/post trip inspections.
- Operate the service vehicle in compliance with company policies and governmental regulations.
- Deliver propane as needed while meeting performance metrics related to productivity and inventory management.
- Adhere to safety standards, maintaining a record of zero preventable accidents.
- Work a flexible schedule, including after-hours emergency calls.
- Communicate effectively with customers to provide clear information and support.
- Report any issues that may affect safety, customer satisfaction, or productivity to your supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; CTEP certification is a plus.
- Experience in servicing residential heating and air conditioning systems is required.
- Valid CDL C or B with HazMat and Air Brake endorsements is necessary.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high performance standards.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
