Job Description

Lendex Technology is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our purchasing policies and processes are in place to meet our business objectives and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchasing Policy Development: Create and review opportunities to implement best practice purchasing policies, processes, and procedures to deliver best value and business savings.
  • Supplier Management: Evaluate the challenges faced by the business and take action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities. Ensure purchasing policy guidelines and associated documents are in place and updated when required.
  • Procurement Process Improvement: Develop creative and innovative procurement processes (eProcurement) to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and manage contract terms with suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards, and delivery terms with technical and operational input from stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Performance Measurement: Work with suppliers and have a process in place to measure effective performance, quality, and compliance. Measure against KPI criteria.
  • Supply Base Management: Ensure professional and consistent supplier management is applied across the supply base in line with the purchasing policy.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure parts are sourced in full and aligned to production schedules and customer requirements.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Must have more than five years of work-related experience in procurement and inventory management.
  • Education: Must be a B.Tech; MBA is an added advantage.
  • Skills: Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management, interest in market dynamics, negotiation and networking skills, working experience of vendor management software, ability to gather and analyze data, solid judgment, and strong leadership capabilities.
