VMR Strategic Solutions is on the lookout for a skilled IT Systems Architect to take charge of comprehensive cyber project management and coordination. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about pioneering IT tools, systems, and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, design, and provide technical contributions to the systems engineering lifecycle. Create essential technical documentation, system architecture frameworks, and design specifications.
  • Engage with government representatives regarding technical aspects of systems engineering and address any related challenges or conflicts.
  • Ensure the technical soundness of deliverables and work produced within the Systems Engineering domain. Collaborate with engineers, developers, and testers, while maintaining communication with government and mission partners.
  • Facilitate system development and implementation strategies through the evaluation or creation of systems engineering management plans and integration/testing plans. Analyze intricate information and independently take necessary actions to resolve issues.
  • Offer engineering insights to technical personnel and foster effective relationships with other government entities and mission collaborators.
  • Present briefings on complex subjects to diverse audiences, including high-level decision-makers. Participate in intricate research projects as a senior contributor within an integrated research team, designing and delivering innovative solutions.
Qualifications

Essential Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Systems Engineering or a related field.
  • Current CISSP, CASP+CE, or CSSLP certification (meeting DoD 8570 IASAE Level II requirements).
  • Familiarity with Cloud/AWS technologies.
  • Understanding of the DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF).
  • Capability to construct systems from the ground up, including network architecture and systems engineering.
Clearance Requirements
  • Must possess TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Work Environment
  • This position requires onsite presence.
