Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective safety programs and policies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement training programs to promote a culture of safety and wellness.
  • Investigate incidents and near-miss events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry partners to stay up-to-date on the latest safety standards and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Develop and manage budgets for safety-related initiatives and programs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
