We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team at Dow's Sabine River Operations site in Orange, TX. As a key member of our Packaging & Specialty Plastics business, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and availability of our High Pressure Copolymers production line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement equipment reliability strategies to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.
  • Conduct root cause analyses to identify and resolve reliability issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement predictive maintenance programs, and ensure the effective use of reliability engineering tools and techniques.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to maintenance personnel to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment.
  • Develop and maintain reliability metrics and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in capital project planning and execution to ensure that reliability considerations are integrated into project design and implementation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in reliability engineering, maintenance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in reliability engineering tools and techniques, including Weibull analysis, RCI, and FMEA.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with data analysis and statistical process control.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for reliability engineering.
  • Certification in reliability engineering or a related field.
