Additional duties may be assigned by the Medical Director/Facility Director, which may involve planning, assigning, and/or overseeing the work of others.

This position operates with minimal supervision, allowing significant latitude for initiative and independent judgment. Clinical and administrative oversight is provided by the Medical Director and/or other supervising physicians.

Shift statement (if applicable): This role may qualify for additional compensation for work performed during evenings, nights, and/or weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

Regular attendance is required, and the employee may need to adhere to a specific shift schedule or, at times, a rotating schedule, extended shifts, and/or overtime in accordance with agency leave policies while performing other assigned duties.

Conducts comprehensive medical care, which includes performing rounds, reviewing infirmary and hospitalized patients, and assessing on-call cases for the status of individuals under treatment.

Provides medical diagnoses and reviews treatment plans during the Individual Service Plan (ISP) meetings.

This includes evaluating all identified risks of the individual (e.g., choking, pneumonia) and their health status, ensuring necessary supports (OT, PT, Nursing) are identified and addressed.
