We are currently in search of a Research Scientist to become part of our dynamic team. This role is integral to our ongoing projects and will involve significant contributions to our research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting advanced research facilities designed to simulate the extreme conditions of planetary atmospheres. Responsibilities will encompass:

  • Conducting research and development activities related to environmental simulations.
  • Collaborating with external scientific communities to enhance research outcomes.
  • Contributing to the development of standards for long-duration planetary missions.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Planetary Science or Geology.
  • Proven expertise in research methodologies, instrumentation, and remote sensing technologies relevant to planetary studies.
  • In-depth understanding of material interactions and chemical processes in extreme environments.
  • Experience with thermodynamic modeling software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct experiments and interpret data effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the physical and chemical properties of planetary atmospheres.
  • Experience with analytical techniques such as gas chromatography and mass spectrometry.
  • Familiarity with aerosol experimental setups and semiconductor technologies.

Education and Experience:

  • Ph.D. in Planetary Science or Geology with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Additional Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is mandatory for this position.
  • Ability to pass a government background check.
