The Aquatic Safety Specialist position at Gold's Gym Washington focuses on maintaining a secure and hygienic swimming area for members, emphasizing safety protocols, exceptional customer service, and delivering swimming instruction to individuals of all ages. The key responsibilities include:
- Upholding swimming facility rules and guidelines.
- Conducting routine safety inspections.
- Performing maintenance and cleanliness tasks.
- Providing both group and individualized swimming lessons.
- Supporting the Aquatics Director with designated responsibilities.
Qualifications:
The preferred candidate should hold American Red Cross certifications in Lifeguarding, CPR, AED, and First Aid, alongside competitive swimming skills. A passion for engaging with children, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds are essential. While certifications are not required at the time of hiring, they must be acquired within a specified timeframe. Ongoing training opportunities will be available. Flexible work schedules can be arranged to accommodate educational commitments.
