Job Summary

Aerotek is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Technician, you will work under the guidance of a Journeyman level electrician, assisting in the installation, alteration, addition, and/or repair of electrical systems on commercial work sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation, alteration, addition, and/or repair of electrical systems on commercial work sites.
  • Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit.
  • Bend pipe (1 inch).
  • Trace out short circuits in wiring.
  • Assist in lifting, positioning, and fastening objects such as wiring, conduit, and motors.
  • Remove lighting fixtures and install new ones.
  • Pull MC Cable wires.
  • Secure, relocate, and organize materials, small tools, and equipment.
  • Maintain tools and equipment.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in the electrical field.
  • Conduits.
  • Pipe bending.
  • Wiring.
  • Own basic hand tools.

Work Environment

The Electrical Technician will work under a foreman from the company, with some of their clients including major commercial and industrial clients. The work will be conducted on commercial work sites with a focus on maintaining safety and cleanliness. The technician must have their own hand tools.
