Job Summary

Sage Ventures LLC is seeking a highly skilled Site Superintendent to manage the construction, field operations, and schedule for timely completion of assigned projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the site development process, ensuring adherence to the approved development budget, and collaborating with outside vendors and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in preconstruction activities and host kick-off meetings with subcontractors to discuss project scope.
  • Create a site utilization plan, including job-site office location, material laydown/staging areas, and temporary power setup.
  • Organize and plan job schedules, advise the Director of Construction on major risk items, and document incidents.
  • Implement and support Sage Homes Quality Control Program and scopes of work.
  • Utilize Builder Trend and Smartsheet to document project activities and monitor construction to conform with plans/specifications.
  • Advise on construction completion to verify contractor payments and review house budgets quarterly.
  • Actively participate in creating project schedules and provide weekly updates to the Director of Construction.
  • Conduct safety meetings, enforce safety rules and procedures, and secure the site and building at the end of each workday.
  • Maintain project oversight to ensure each building is completed on-time per the construction schedule.
  • Manage the inspection process throughout construction and prepare units for customer walkthroughs.
  • Report on site development activities to the Director of Construction weekly and perform additional duties as required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in construction management preferred.
  • 5 years of construction experience, with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in reading architectural, structural, and MEP plans, as well as experience with construction management software.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions and possess a valid driver's license.
