We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Facility Supervisor at the City of Norwalk Park and Recreation Department. This is a seasonal part-time position that will involve supervising multiple parks and recreation programs at McAninch Sports Complex and indoor facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement regular inspections to ensure activities are conducted safely and appropriately
  • Open, close, and secure facilities at designated times
  • Educate and guide participants and other staff
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of facilities and storage areas
  • Perform other facility and site maintenance tasks as assigned
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
  • Knowledge of basic maintenance and cleaning materials
  • Ability to lift objects from 15-25 pounds and occasionally lift objects weighing more than 50 pounds
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time and work efficiently throughout McAninch Sports Complex and indoor facilities. No benefits are available for this position.
