Position Overview

DPR Construction is in search of a Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical Commercial Construction.

This pivotal role involves leading the project team to ensure timely completion while upholding exceptional standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction. The Project Manager will oversee the daily operations, project controls, engineering, financial management, and risk assessment associated with the project.

The focus will be on managing electrical commercial projects across key sectors: Healthcare, Advanced Technology, Life Sciences, Higher Education, and Commercial. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with all members of the Project Team, Project Executives, and Regional Leadership, and will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
  • Exhibit a strong understanding and commitment to the vision and mission of DPR Construction.
  • Oversee all Project Team Members, including Senior Project Engineers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Field Office Coordinators.
  • Guide, develop, and mentor team members to foster rapid growth.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of project scope and requirements.
  • Manage cost control, billing, and collections for the assigned project.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the client and design team.
  • Support and challenge the job site and self-perform work teams.
  • Ensure accountability for project completion, financial performance, critical success factors, and client satisfaction.

  • Thorough understanding of construction processes and systems.
  • Expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (Prolog or similar), accounting software (CMIC or similar), and scheduling tools (Primavera or similar).
  • Experience managing multiple complex, technical projects, preferably within the core sectors.
  • A Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A robust work ethic and a proactive attitude.
  • A minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience in Electrical Commercial Construction.
