Your Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination & Safety: Uphold safety standards, manage project timelines, and develop pre-construction plans. Supervise construction methodologies and site organization.
  • Schedule Oversight: Create and maintain project schedules, track progress, and address any issues that arise.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Schedule and manage subcontractors and vendors, conducting regular meetings to ensure project alignment.
  • Cost & Time Oversight: Keep accurate records of time and costs, review labor reports, and manage quality control processes.
  • Site Management: Ensure a tidy and organized job site, minimize potential change orders, and finalize projects in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Team Development: Inspire and support your team, foster a culture of learning, participate in onboarding and training, and conduct performance evaluations.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a superintendent role, ideally within commercial construction. Experience in K-12 projects is advantageous. Proficiency in scheduling, field supervision, quality assurance, and construction productivity is essential.
  • Software Skills: Familiarity with Viewpoint, Primavera P6, and Procore is highly desirable.
