Position Summary:

We are seeking a Fire Protection Engineer with a robust background and a passion for advancing safety standards. This role is integral to our Austin office, where you will collaborate with a dynamic team dedicated to engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and analyze fire protection systems, including automatic suppression and alarm systems.
  • Conduct thorough code and egress analysis to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Engage in smoke control analysis and fire-resistant construction evaluations.
  • Provide expert consulting services to both internal teams and external clients.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Lead project management efforts for various fire protection initiatives.
  • Conduct site visits and collaborate with architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Fire Sciences, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is advantageous.
  • Engineer In Training (EIT) certification is required.
  • A minimum of eight years of experience in fire protection engineering.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other electronic drafting software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
