Job Summary:

USA Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist registered nurses and physicians with exams and procedures, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, to monitor patient health.
  • Administer medications and injections according to orders, maintaining accurate records and ensuring patient safety.
  • Maintain patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Perform routine tests and procedures, such as dipstick urinalysis, hematocrits, EKGs, tympanometry, audiometry, inhalation therapy, pregnancy tests, and blood glucose monitoring.
  • Manage clinical supplies and medications, ensuring adequate inventory levels and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Prepare lab, X-ray, and referral forms, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, providing clear and concise information.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and patient-centered care.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing meeting the minimum standards set by the State of Alabama.
  • Licensure with the State of Alabama as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
