Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all plant operations to ensure customer satisfaction and meet company metrics.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive continuous improvement and reduce costs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve quality, delivery, and cost improvements.
  • Manage plant safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements.
  • Ensure quality meets internal and external standards.
  • Minimize working capital while meeting on-time delivery goals.
  • Coordinate and sponsor product improvement teams to achieve quality, warranty, and cost reduction goals.
  • Utilize lean, six sigma, and TOC methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead activities to meet dynamic market needs and expectations for order fulfillment and reduce lead times.
  • Motivate and develop subordinates to optimize their performance and personal growth.
  • Ensure company standard practices and procedures are followed.
  • Provide monthly forecasting and reporting of all plant operations and associated financial measures.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated success managing large groups to sustained improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Intimate knowledge of and proven success working cross-functionally.
  • Strong MRP/ERP experience, Oracle preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills with expertise in Excel and Word.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate personnel by example.
  • Able to make decisions with reasonable information.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field required. MBA preferred.
  • Ten plus years manufacturing experience, with progressive levels of responsibility demonstrated.
  • Experience in sheet metal manufacturing/assembly preferred.
