Economic Research Fellowship Opportunity

We are seeking highly motivated Ph.D. students in economics to participate in our research fellowship program. As a Research Economist Fellow, you will have the opportunity to conduct research at our Washington, D.C. offices, working on a topic of your own choosing and giving seminars on your work.

The fellowship is an in-residence program hosted at our Washington, D.C. offices, offering a flexible work environment that requires a combination of telework and in-office presence. You will be part of a talented and diverse workforce, committed to fostering different perspectives and promoting diversity and inclusion.

To be eligible, you must be a current PhD student, graduating fall 2025 or later. You will need to attach a vita, work from your thesis, graduate transcript, and two letters of reference to your profile and submit your application by February 1.

As a Research Economist Fellow, you can expect a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
