Job Description
A highly rewarding internship opportunity exists at Harry N Abrams Inc for a Marketing and Social Media Assistant for Books. In this role, you will have the chance to work with a talented team to develop and implement marketing strategies, create engaging content, and contribute to innovative campaigns.

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and driven individual with a passion for marketing, social media, and books. They should possess strong organizational and time management skills, excellent writing and communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in Mac OS and MS Office Suite, as well as working knowledge of social media platforms, is a must. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Mailchimp is a plus.

As a Marketing and Social Media Assistant for Books, you will work closely with the Digital Strategy & Consumer Engagement team on projects spanning campaign creation, execution, and analysis. You will assist in creating, copywriting, and organizing materials for social media, ecommerce, and newsletter projects, coordinate mailings, plan consumer shows and events, and participate in brainstorms for future campaigns. Additionally, you will conduct audience research, assist with brand and influencer campaigns, and update seasonal departmental documents. Evaluation of ROI on performance marketing campaigns and receipt of training on maximizing engagement to drive conversion are also key aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies and campaigns for books
    • Create engaging content for social media, ecommerce, and newsletter projects
    • Collaborate with the Digital Strategy & Consumer Engagement team on project development and execution
    • Conduct market research, analyze data, and provide insights to inform marketing decisions
    • Assist in planning and executing consumer shows and events
