Job Overview

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage Blending and Milling Machinery to fulfill daily production and quality standards.
  • Address production challenges and implement suitable corrective measures, including necessary mechanical adjustments.
  • Utilize forklifts for material handling.
  • Complete essential record-keeping duties.
  • Ensure the maintenance of the workspace and equipment in accordance with the highest GMPs, SOPs, and safety protocols.
  • Actively participate as a member of the Milling/Blending team, emphasizing collaboration across all shifts.
  • Consistently seek enhancements in safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Work independently with responsibility and the ability to initiate tasks promptly.
  • Coordinate efforts with Production Control.
  • Operate additional packaging machinery and assist in various areas of the facility as required by business needs.
  • Report food safety and quality concerns and take necessary actions.
  • Adhere to all Food Safety regulations, including but not limited to:
    • GMPs
    • Allergen Management
    • Quality Assurance
    • Sanitation Standards
    • Safety Protocols
    • SQF Compliance
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as needed.

Shift Information:

Hours: 11:00 PM - 7:15 AM

Days: Sunday - Thursday

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical skills and aptitude are essential.
  • Capability to lift 50-60 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Ability to remain on feet for the duration of the shift.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in basic math skills (addition, subtraction, averaging, and percentages).
  • Quality and customer service orientation are necessary.
  • Ability to adhere to attendance policies and work overtime as needed.
  • Capacity to maintain positive working relationships with all contacts.
