Job Overview

Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Direct Support Professional/Adult Companion. This role involves providing invaluable in-home and in-community support to adults with physical disabilities, brain injuries, and mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals in learning, maintaining, or improving skills through their participation in various activities of everyday life, including in their homes and in the community to improve their level of independence.
  • Implement support strategies to achieve the individual's personalized goals.
  • Submit accurate and complete daily progress notes for each shift worked with the individuals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years comparable, community-based, life or work experience provided services to individuals with disabilities.
  • Valid driver's license and existing insurance.
  • Must be willing to drive individuals in personal cars throughout the community. We provide mileage reimbursement.
  • Willing to comply with required policies, standards, and regulations including, but not limited to background checks, reference checks, and driving record checks.
  • Must have flexible availability.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
