OPTiM is seeking a highly skilled Senior Workers' Compensation Coordinator to join our team in Savannah. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing Independent Medical Examination, second opinion, and takeover of care requests. You will also assist in training and onboarding of new employees, perform duties assigned by the WC Manager, and work closely with physicians, employers, and insurance companies to resolve return to work and treatment plan issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process Independent Medical Examination, second opinion, and takeover of care requests.
- Assist in training and onboarding of new employees.
- Perform duties assigned by the WC Manager.
- Work closely with physicians, employers, and insurance companies to resolve return to work and treatment plan issues.
- Accurately document all actions taken in electronic health record system.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Basic computer skills utilizing Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of practice management and electronic health record software.
- Ability to perform multiple and diverse tasks simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
