Senior Financial Operations Manager

Waabi, a pioneering AI company, is seeking a Senior Financial Operations Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, and consolidation processes with minimal supervision.

This role is crucial for driving process improvements, ensuring seamless and efficient financial operations, and delivering timely, accurate, and insightful reporting in compliance with GAAP.

  • Ensure the integrity of all financial records, reconciliations, and reports.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to optimize the close process and address challenges proactively.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily bank reconciliations, identifying and rectifying discrepancies.
  • Perform monthly corporate credit card reconciliations, ensuring alignment with corresponding receipts.
  • Manage the accounts payable process, including approval of vendor bills and timely payments.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with professional standards, audit, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting, with substantial experience in managing the month-end close and consolidation process independently with at least 2 years of high growth/startup experience.
  • Proficient in different accounting software, including QBO, Netsuite, etc.
