Responsibilities

The Clinical Pharmacist will provide specialized pharmaceutical care to patients, including drug usage monitoring and education of hospital staff. This role will also participate in selected committees and assist with experiential clerkships of pharmacy students.

The Clinical Pharmacist will serve as a clinical resource person for staff pharmacists and provide clinical pharmacy services on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Current license to practice in the State of Rhode Island
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree
  • BLS certification within 6 months of hire
