Orthopedic Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at Mass General Brigham, a leading academic medical center. The successful candidate will have experience working with patients with orthopedic impairments and conditions.
Job SummaryThe Staff Orthopedic Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing patient care in accordance with State licensing regulations, departmental standards, and policies, and accepted professional standards of care. This includes examining and evaluating patients' physical therapy needs, developing treatment plans, and consulting with other members of the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Examine and evaluate patients' physical therapy needs, formulating a diagnosis and developing a treatment plan.
- Collaborate with patients and caregivers to develop effective treatment goals.
- Consult with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordination and effectiveness of therapies provided.
- Manage patient caseloads, prioritizing and monitoring admissions, referrals, and discharges.
- Participate in activities promoting knowledge and skill development, including departmental meetings and continuing education programs.
- Supervise aides and students as needed.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A graduate degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
- An unrestricted license to practice physical therapy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse patient populations.
- Strong analytical abilities and sound knowledge in physical therapy, with the capacity for sound clinical decision-making and judgment.
This full-time position comes with a competitive salary range starting at $90,000 per year, plus excellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, employee assistance programs, generous paid time off, 403B match, pension/cash balance account, tuition reimbursement, continuing education opportunities, and more.
