About the Role

The Orthopedic Rehabilitation Specialist will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical therapy services to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. This includes evaluating patient needs, developing treatment plans, and modifying plans based on patient progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient needs according to organizational and professional guidelines
  • Develop treatment plans considering patients' age and situation, including discharge planning
  • Modify treatment plans based on patient progress toward stated goals
  • Maintain complete, timely documentation in accordance with facility and practice guidelines
  • Orient, train, and mentor therapy and healthcare students to meet performance expectations
  • Identify and implement Performance Improvement opportunities for best practices
  • Participate in departmental, organizational, or network activities aligned with established objectives
Qualifications
  • Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Licensed as a physical therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • BLS certification required
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Basic math and computer science skills
  • Knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques for rehabilitation populations
  • Problem-solving skills for evaluating, interpreting, treating, and executing care considering patient factors

Estimated salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
