Role Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment. The primary responsibilities include:

  1. Managing the registration and scheduling of patient appointments through our Electronic Health Record (E.H.R) system.
  2. Collecting and inputting patient demographic details, including primary care and pharmacy information.
  3. Verifying insurance details and eligibility for services.
  4. Occasionally assisting with phone coverage for the main operator.
  5. Prioritizing and triaging phone messages from patients.
  6. Handling medical record documentation as required.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, with typical hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, and occasional Saturday shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a medical office setting.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance plans.
  • Proficient phone and computer skills are essential.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities are required.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records Systems (E.H.R) is necessary.
  • Experience with Athena software is considered a plus.
