Semitronics Corporation is seeking a highly organized Sales Support Coordinator to join their team in Freeport, New York.

Job Description

This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth functioning of sales processes and contributing to the overall success of semiconductor solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing client accounts, processing orders, preparing quotes, and tracking shipments for timely delivery.
  • Serving as a liaison between internal departments and external clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing updates on order status.
  • Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and order details.
  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify potential leads, track industry trends, and gather competitive intelligence to support sales strategies.
  • Providing introductory information to new customers.
  • Entering customer data and responding to inquiries regarding product orders.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers to support ongoing business and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Providing technical information and assisting customers with questions about products and services offered.
  • Responding to customers via phone and email, including requests for quotes, applications, pricing, and product availability.
  • FOLLOWING UP ON OPEN QUOTE REQUESTS BY PART NUMBER AND BRINGING THEM TO CLOSURE.
  • MANAGING BACKLOG AND OPEN ORDER REPORTS FOR CUSTOMERS IN OUR INTERNAL SYSTEM.
  • DEVELOPING ACCOUNTS BY CHECKING CUSTOMER HISTORY AND FOLLOWING UP PERIODICALLY.
  • COMMUNICATING WITH THE SUPERVISOR REGARDING ANY CUSTOMER ISSUES OR POTENTIAL PROBLEMS.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (a plus).
  • Proven experience in a sales support, administrative, or customer service role, preferably within the semiconductor or technology industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of semiconductor devices.
  • The motivation to learn the company's product offerings, capabilities, and systems to effectively sell their products and services.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
