Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the physical and mechanical upkeep of our properties, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.
  • Oversee maintenance work, including painting, cleaning, and repairs, as well as capital improvement projects.
  • Manage the maintenance staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure that all work orders are completed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement maintenance budgets and schedules.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the highest level of service delivery.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required; additional education preferred.
  • HVAC certification and certification in electrical (commercial and residential) required.
  • Universal certification required within one year of hire.
  • Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance required.
  • Minimum of two years supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate instructions accurately.
