Role Summary

The Storeroom Attendant is accountable for the reception, storage, and inventory management of all departmental supplies and food items, ensuring cleanliness and organization in storage areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory levels and maintain essential food and supply stock to support the efficient operation of the Food Service Department.
  • Store food and supplies in appropriate containers and designated areas to prevent spoilage.
  • Maintain accurate records of storage temperatures for perishable items in compliance with standards.
  • Implement proper dating, labeling, and rotation of stock to ensure the oldest products are utilized first.
  • Order food and supplies according to established product specifications and company protocols.
  • Secure areas to prevent theft and ensure safety of chemicals, supplies, and equipment, adhering to all security protocols.
  • Transport food and supplies using appropriate methods to ensure safe delivery.
  • Follow HACCP guidelines to guarantee the quality and safety of food supplies.
  • Report maintenance needs or equipment repairs to the appropriate resources.
  • Complete all required reports in a timely manner as per corporate policies.
  • Utilize cleaning chemicals and equipment according to safety procedures and manufacturer recommendations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
