Position Overview
Fairview Health Services is in search of a dedicated full-time Chief CRNA who possesses a keen interest in both Pediatric and Adult anesthesia practices. This role will be integral to the M Health University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital, recognized globally for its exceptional care for children facing a range of health challenges. The Chief CRNA will work closely with the Director of Nurse Anesthesia at the University of Minnesota Medical Center and will oversee the CRNA team at the children's hospital.
Practice Highlights
- 0.3 FTE Administrative responsibilities and 0.7 FTE Clinical duties.
- Diverse case load encompassing both pediatric and adult patients.
- Opportunities to mentor and collaborate with SRNAs.
- Collaborative practice with Anesthesiologists.
- Flexible scheduling including day, evening, and night shifts with varying lengths.
- As a Pioneer Accountable Care Organization (ACO), we emphasize a multidisciplinary team approach in clinical care management.
- Utilization of a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record system (EPIC).

Candidate Qualifications
Ideal candidates will be graduates of accredited nursing programs and formal Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist training. Candidates must hold a current Minnesota RN license and be board certified or eligible through the National Board on Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
* Leadership experience is highly preferred.
* Experience in pediatric anesthesia is mandatory.
