Salary and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this position is $30,000-$60,000 based on an average of 20 hours of work per week.
This is an intermittent position, meaning the work schedule is not predictable and may vary from week to week.
The selected candidate will have access to our comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan.
Job Responsibilities
- Help local and tribal governments as well as community partners with funding strategies, stakeholder engagement, and innovations on energy and environmental justice challenges
- Support a technical assistance contract, funded to help local partners exploring the historic Community Change Grants for climate resiliency
- Engage communities seeking to expand their economic mobility and opportunity programming by identifying new local, regional, state, and national sources of support
Requirements
- Relevant subject matter expertise including experience identifying, capturing, and managing grant funding from government agencies, foundations, and other donors
- Experience in identifying creative approaches for resourcing and implementing new and emerging programs and priorities
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, as well as strong planning, analytical, and conceptual skills
About the Role
This role requires a high degree of independence and self-motivation, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
The selected candidate will be expected to work remotely, using their own personal computer, telephone, printer, and other technology at their own expense.
