Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Materials Technician to join our team at Select Medical. As a Materials Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital's supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Materials Manager in stocking daily supplies and processing deliveries
  • Collect and log daily charge data, and enter charges for each department
  • Order supplies, rental equipment, and submit invoices
  • Review and restock daily supplies in nursing stations
  • Receive and verify facility supplies, and make notations on purchase orders
  • Handle inventory, rotate stock, and maintain adequate levels
  • Review and reconcile invoices to packing slips and purchase orders
  • Verify invoice charges and code line items with general ledger accounts
  • Verify approval signatures on invoices
Requirements
  • Basic computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and 10-key
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Materials Technician
  • Experience in Materials and Central Supplies within a hospital setting preferred
  • Associate's degree preferred
